Meeting Minutes

July 9, 2006

Minute Man Sportsman’s Club, Billerica MA

The meeting was called to order at 11:45AM by Steve Szczechura and recessed until 12:40AM.

Steve Szczechura reconvened the meeting and welcomed those present. Steve thanked all of those who have helped with the State Shoot, including the trophy committee and Minute Man Sportsman’s Club.

A brief discussion was held regarding when to hold the December meeting. Last year’s meeting was held on a Friday evening and it worked out well. It was agreed to hold the December 2006 annual meeting on a Friday evening with date time and place to be announced.

Steve Szczechura recognized the 2006 State Team members and team pins were presented.

Phil Wright, ATA Delegate, reported on ATA matters including the Grand American which will be held for the first time at the World Shooting Complex in Sparta IL.

Representatives from the Pelham Fish and Game Clays Committee briefly discussed current happenings at Pelham Fish and Game. They expressed an interest in hosting the 2007 New Hampshire State Shoot.

The election of the ATA delegate and alternates was as follows:

Motion to nominate Phil Wright for delegate was made by Dan Madden, seconded by Dennis Nadeau. There being no further nominations, the President directed the Secretary to cast one vote in favor of the candidate.

Motion to nominate Steve Szczechura for 1^st Alternate Delegate was made by Leo Lessard, seconded by Phil Wright. There being no further nominations, the President directed the secretary to cast one vote in favor of the candidate.

Motion to nominate Peter Tomaini for 2^nd Alternate Delegate was made by Leo Lessard, seconded by Dan Madden. There being no further nominations, the President directed the secretary to cast one vote in favor of the candidate.

The gun case raffle winner was announced. The raffle was held in support of the Lone Pine Hunters Club.

Meeting was adjourned at 1:30pm.
