STATE SHOOT MEETING MINUTES DATE: July 8, 2001 PLACE: Pelham Fish & Game (NH State Shoot) TIME: 11:45 AM The meeting was called to order by President Blaisdell and recessed until 1:15 PM. The meeting was reconvened by Mike Blaisdell, President. He informed those present that the purpose of this meeting was to elect the delegate and two alternates to the ATA. Accolades were bestowed upon Sue Wright and Theresa Blaisdell for thier work in the selection and awarding of trophies; Kit Fox, Steve Szczachura and the Pelham Fish & Game Club for their work in hosting the tournament; Peter Tomaini for obtaining the state shoot attendance pins and all the members of Cheshire County Fish and Game for their help in providing transportation to those in need. Phil Wright was nominated for delegate by Loren Hardy and seconded by Dan Madden. There being no further nominations, the secretary was asked to cast one vote for the nominee. Mike Blaisdell was nominated for first alternate delegate by Dan Madden and seconded by Leo Lessard. There being no further nominations, the secretary was asked to cast one vote for the nominee. Dan Madden was nominated for second alternate delegate by Chuck Tatham and seconded by Ed Kelleher. There being no further nominations, the secretary was asked to cast one vote for the nominee. Phil Wright gave his report on ATA matters. Steve Szczechura spoke on behalf of Pelham Fish and Game regarding their plans to return to 8 fields in 2002. Mike Blaisdell requested that the membership think about changing the election of state officers to the meeting held during the state shoot because more members will be present to vote. Mike also proposed that the state team be announced at the annual meeting but that the awards be distributed at the state shoot meeting so the members can receive more recognition. Mike again asked if there was any one who was qualified to be web master for the web site.
