NHTA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

DATE: February 24, 2002

PLACE: Cheshire County Fish & Game

ATTENDEES:      Dan Madden (President)

                                Doug Whiton (Vice President)

                                Kim Lafleur (Secretary)

                                Phil Wright (Treasurer)

Follwing the ham shoot at the Cheshire County F&G on February 24, 2002, the NHTA EC met to discuss and make necessary decisions on several issues associated with this year's state shoot.  All four NHTA officers were in attendance, as well as a few other interested shooters.  The issues were as follows:

1. The state shoot pre-registration process will be the same process as in recent years.  A pre-registration shoot will be held on Sunday, May 19th at Pelham Fish & Game, to conduct the pre-registration process.

2. On Friday of the state shoot, Event 1 and possibly Event 2 will be shot using the 10 per post format in order to gain time to complete Event 3.

3. The Singles Championship on Saturday MAY be shot using 10 per post if there is an excessive demand for squadding in the pre-registration process.

4. Pre-cashiering for the doubles event will be required.  Those who have not paid their doubles entry by Saturday evening (time not yet determined) will have to pay a $5 late penalty on Sunday unless Sunday is the first day they are at the shoot.

5. A shell raffel will be conducted to benefit the NHTA.  200 tickets will be sold for $5 each and there will be 3 prizes.  First Prize will be 5 flats of shell, Second Prize will be 3 flats of shells, and Third Prize will be 2 flats of shells.

6. We will be purchasing some quality hats for resale with the NHTA logo on them.

7. We are looking into the feasibility of printing shoot specific tee shirts.

Respectfully submitted,

Kim Lafleur

Secretary
